Flattening a solid

How do I flatten a contoured solid model in Catia V5?

You probably want to use one of the Sheetmetal workbenches to create a flat pattern. Aerospace Sheetmetal handles contoured shapes.

hi,
you need to shell out your model in part design.Then take it to the sheetmetal design workbench and recognise it there.Remember the thickness and the bend radius values of the part and the sheetmetal parameters defined should match.Hope it helps.
