Text on solids - Is there an easier way like done in UG?

In Catia if you want to put text into a model, you had to type it in drafting, copy and paste into a sketch and then pad or pocket. In UG it is possible to go and put text straight onto your solid. Is this possible in Catia yet? Or can one somehow type text inside a sketch?

Type3

There is a third-party application called Type3 that works within CATIA V5 to engrave/emboss text (and other things like logos, textures, artwork, etc) into CATIA solids models. I've never used it, but they do some impressive demos at COE.
