Catia Thick Surface Command Failed

I thicket a surface in Catia GSD with thick surface command. The thick surface command failed to thick a surface. I want to convert my surface body to part with 9mm thickness

Could you plz tell what the possible reasons for failure in thick surface command

Many reasons why a ThickSurface command might fail: bad, discontinuous surface, surface has radii that are smaller than the thickness, surface folds over on itself, thickness too large, etc.

I don't know exactly what the problem is, so I can't tell you how to correct it. Maybe it would help if you could attach a picture (with the surface and tree).

Assuming it's the surface, I would delete the surface and make a new one with less curvature.

Just as a test, can you thicken the surface to the other side?

Another test: can you thicken with a smaller thickness?
